Navneet Rana targeted Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray, saying that Uddhav Thackeray goes to offer prayers at shrines and sits with those who offer prayers there, but the Thackeray name has gone with Balasaheb.

BJP leader and former Amravati MP Navneet Rana has targeted the Thackeray brothers over the offering of a chadar (ceremonial cloth) at a shrine. Taking a dig at Uddhav Thackeray, Navneet Rana said, “This is Mr. Uddhav Thackeray. The name Thackeray went away with Balasaheb Thackeray. Today, Uddhav Thackeray goes to offer a chadar. He sits next to those who offer the chadar. My question to Raj Thackeray is, where did the loudspeakers go? Where did the mosques go, and where did the Hanuman Chalisa go?” She added, “Raj Thackeray used to say, ‘My dear Hindu brothers and sisters,’ but now his language is different. ‘My dear voters of Maharashtra,’ understand where he is going. Will he also go to offer a chadar?”

Former Amravati MP Navneet Rana said that the issue regarding the Amravati Municipal Corporation elections with the Shiv Sena Shinde faction has not yet been resolved. However, she expressed hope that a solution would be found within the next 24 hours.

On the issue of infiltrators:
Navneet Rana said, “Regarding the infiltrators, the report that has come out shows a 200% growth in Assam. A 30% growth has been found in Mumbai. It’s also present in West Bengal. What is the percentage increase in Kashmir? I think discussions have been going on about this since yesterday. All Hindu brothers and sisters should definitely pay attention to this report. If the percentage in Kashmir drops from top to bottom, to a single digit, like the way minorities are treated in Bangladesh, and they increase by 200% in Assam, this is Hindustan, and the name of Hindustan should remain.”

Kiren Rijiju offered a chadar
While Navneet Rana is targeting Uddhav and Raj Thackeray by accusing them of offering a chadar, her own party’s senior leaders don’t see anything wrong with it. Indian Prime Ministers have been offering a chadar at the Ajmer Dargah during the Urs festival since 1947, and PM Modi has also continued this tradition. He doesn’t go to offer the chadar himself every time, but a Union Minister does so on his behalf. On December 22, Kiren Rijiju offered the chadar.
