Nawada: Priyanka Kumari (35 to 36 years), superintendent of Nawada’s Vrihad Ashray Grih, has committed suicide. There was a stir after the incident came to light on Monday morning, March 31, 2025. She was a resident of Gorakhpur, UP. She hanged herself in her government residence in Budhaul village of Nagar police station. Before committing suicide, Priyanka talked to her husband Ganesh Kumar on a video call via WhatsApp and then this incident has come to light. She had told her husband that she was going to commit suicide.
In this entire case, DSP Hulas Kumar said that the husband himself informed the police about the incident. A suicide note has been found from the spot. No allegations have been made against anyone in the suicide note. The body has been sent for post-mortem. The police is investigating the matter. The forensic team has also been called to the spot.

Earlier the shelter home was running in Gaya

Every person coming here has to submit a certificate. Close family members also have to give certificates like Aadhar card. After this, this entry is made in the register. Then permission is given to enter inside. However, no common person has entered between Sunday and Monday. On the other hand, the family members have left for Nawada from Gorakhpur.
