The biggest action against drugs has been seen in the capital Bhopal so far. Anti Terror Squad (ATS) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) have raided a factory in Bagroda area of Katara Hills police station area, in which 907 kg of MD drugs have been recovered. It is being told that the cost of this drug is around Rs 1814 crore.
NCB conducted this raid in collaboration with ATS Gujarat. During this, the team has also arrested 2 people. One of them is Amit Prakash Chandra Chaturvedi, who is a resident of Bhopal, while the other is Sanyal Bane, who is a resident of Nashik. At present, the police have taken both of them into custody and are being questioned. Along with this, the team has also seized 5000 kg of MD making material.
Large amount of drugs recovered
According to the information, when the officials of NCB and ATS Gujarat reached inside the factory while raiding the factory located in Bagroda Industrial Area of Bhopal, they were surprised to see a huge amount of drugs inside. In this entire operation, the local police of the capital did not even get a clue. All these officers came in vehicles without number plates.

Gujarat’s Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi congratulated the entire team for this success. He said that this is the biggest action against drugs so far. Sharing a post on social media, the Minister of State for Home wrote, ‘Congratulations to Gujarat ATS and NCB (Ops), Delhi for a huge victory in the fight against drugs. Recently, a raid was conducted on a factory in Bhopal and MD (drugs) and its making material were recovered, which is worth Rs 1814 crore.
