Kathmandu: 10 professional mountaineers from Nepal successfully climbed Mount Everest on Friday night. This is the first expedition team to climb the world’s highest peak in this season. Thani Gurgain, employee of ‘Seven Summit Track’, who organized this mountaineering expedition, said that the team of climbers led by Dendi Sherpa reached the 8,848.86 meter high peak at 8.15 pm on Friday night.

The most important thing is that in this summit, Nepali Sherpa has done a feat which no one in the world has done till now. Mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa has conquered Mount Everest for a record 29th time. This time Sherpa broke his own record of climbing Everest for the 28th time. Kami Rita Sherpa is 54 years old and has been climbing mountains since 1994.

Sherpa Kami Rita had earlier said before climbing Mount Everest, “He has no other purpose, only to continue the profession of mountaineering, not to climb for the record.” He had also said that this year he would be the 29th Setting out to summit the bar, there is no plan to climb any specific number of times.

Other mountain guides who have successfully climbed Everest include Tenzing Gyaljen Sherpa, Pemba Tashi Sherpa, Lakpa Sherpa, Dawa Rinji Sherpa, Pam Sorji Sherpa, Suk Bahadur Tamang, Namgyal Dorje Tamang and Lakpa Rinji Sherpa. A total of 414 climbers belonging to 41 mountaineering expeditions have received permission to climb Everest this season.
