Two trains going for Maha Kumbh were late, due to which a large number of people had gathered at the station. These people were waiting for their train. Meanwhile, due to the sudden announcement of platform change, people started running from one platform to another, which led to a stampede. According to eyewitnesses, it took about 45 minutes to provide assistance to the injured after the incident.
