Bus marshals will get permanent jobs

Can get registered in DM office

She said that call out notices will be issued to bus marshals from Monday and from Tuesday they can get their registration done in the DM office. In the year 2018, Arvind Kejriwal’s government appointed marshals in DTC buses so that women are not harassed and children and the elderly can also travel safely. But the BJP conspired in April 2023 to stop the salary of 10,000 bus marshals and then fired them in October 2023.

The Delhi Assembly had passed the resolution

Let us tell you that in September, the Delhi Assembly passed a resolution to restore the jobs of bus marshals. On the first day of the session, there was a heated debate between the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP over the removal of about 10,000 bus marshals employed as bus marshals in DTC and cluster buses. Despite the uproar, both sides eventually supported the proposal to restore jobs. Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj had announced a full-scale effort to reinstate 10,000 bus marshals.
