On Thursday, a man arrived at the Deputy Chief Minister’s official residence on a courtesy visit. He introduced himself as a representative of Delhi BJP State President Virendra Sachdeva. However, the Deputy Chief Minister’s security and vigilance team became suspicious of his behavior and claims.
What was revealed during the interrogation?
According to the Gautam Palli police station, the arrested man has no connection to any official. He has been identified as Dashrath Pal, son of Kunwar Pal, a resident of Ghori Bachhera. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused has defrauded people in several districts, including Noida, Bulandshahr, Meerut, Ghaziabad, and Lucknow.
Police stated that the accused, posing as a representative of Delhi BJP President Virendra Singh, defrauded people by promising to arrange government work, police station-related work, and meetings with Keshav Prasad Maurya.

Police also stated that three other individuals were detained. After questioning, they were found to be completely innocent and were subsequently released. Security personnel at Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya’s official residence informed Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva of the incident.
