Will remain. Suppressing this will not mark the vote in favor of any candidate.

What are the rules of the Election Commission?
It has been clarified by the Election Commission that if in any case the number of NOTA votes is more than the votes of other candidates in the election, then as per the provision of Rule 64, the candidate who has got more votes among other candidates will be declared elected. Will be done. In fact, as per the instructions of the Supreme Court, NOTA button is also installed in the voting machine by the Election Commission.

NOTA button is placed last after the candidates contesting the elections. If a voter does not want to cast his vote in favor of any candidate after entering the polling station and after ensuring his identity, then he will have the option of ‘None’ or ‘NOTA’ button from the above. The privacy of voters using this button will not be breached.

When will the first phase of voting take place?
Let us tell you that NOTA is written in Hindi language on the button and even at the time of counting, the votes recorded in NOTA will be displayed separately. For the purpose of returning the security deposit, the votes cast against NOTA option will not be included in the calculation of total valid votes received by the contesting candidates. Let us tell you that for the Lok Sabha elections, voting will be held through electronic voting machines in Jabalpur, Mandla, Chhindwara, Balaghat, Sidhi and Shahdol parliamentary constituencies of Madhya Pradesh on Friday, April 19 from 7 am to 6 pm.

The process of mock poll will start at 5.30 am, one and a half hours before the start of voting. This process will take place in the presence of the candidate or his authorized agent. If a candidate or his agent does not appear at the polling station at 5.30 in the morning, he will be made to wait for 15 minutes.

After this, the process of mock poll will be started in the presence of polling parties and other members. There is a provision to conduct mock poll with minimum 50 votes, in which NOTA will also be included. Before starting the process of mock poll, the ballot unit and VVPAT will be kept in the VVPAT compartment. The control unit will have to be kept on the table of the presiding officer or the table of the polling officer.
