Once again a speeding vehicle has taken the life of a bike rider in the national capital Delhi. On Monday, a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) truck crushed a motorcycle in south-east Delhi. This killed a 45-year-old man and seriously injured his daughter.

Truck hit bike rider near crossing
Giving more information about the case, the police said that around 1 pm on Monday, information was received that an MCD truck had hit a motorcycle near Shiv Mandir crossing in Pul Prahladpur area. Police teams reached the spot and took Kuldeep and his daughter Anshika to the trauma center of AIIMS. Where doctors declared Kuldeep dead.

Truck driver absconded after the incident
Police said that after the incident, the truck driver fled from the spot. Police have seized both the vehicles. An FIR has been registered against the accused truck driver. Further investigation is being done in the case.

Police scrutinizing CCTV footage
After this incident, the police have started scrutinizing the CCTV footage of the area. Police are also questioning the local people. Police said that soon the accused will be arrested and sent to jail.
