Five people were killed in an armed clash between two groups over a land dispute in Pakistan’s Sukkur city. Quoting a Bagarji police official, the news agency reported that the dispute was the cause of a long-standing rivalry between the two groups and turned into a shootout.
The official said that four people from one group were killed in the violence, of which three were killed on the spot and one succumbed during treatment. Another person from the other group also died in the firing.

He said that earlier also the same land dispute had claimed the lives of three people. According to the news report, the official said that they are investigating the dispute further and the bodies of the deceased have been sent to the district headquarters hospital for further investigation.

In a separate incident, five people lost their lives in a land dispute case after clashes between rival tribes in Lower Orakzai tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) district. Media reports said that several people were injured in the firing.
Brother shot sister
Earlier, in an incident, a brother shot his sister in the Attari Road area of Hujra Shah Muqeem in Pakistan’s Depalpur tehsil of Okara district in Punjab province. According to the information, the sister had failed in the ninth class examination, on which the brother shot his sister. Police officials said that the suspect fled from the spot. At present, a search operation has been started to arrest him and a case has been registered against him on the basis of the complaint of the victim’s mother.
Murder of two step brothers
In a separate incident in Kabirwala, Punjab, a step son killed his two step brothers after a marital dispute. The suspect Munir Ahmed allegedly shot one brother and stabbed the other to death.
