Pakistan’s Shahbaz government blamed India for the recent train hijacking incident in the country. India gave a befitting reply to Pakistan and said, we reject the baseless allegations leveled by Pakistan. The whole world knows where the center of global terrorism is.

Pakistan has blamed India for the train hijacking incident in Balochistan province. After this, India has given a befitting reply to Pakistan. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday rejected the allegations made by Pakistan against India as baseless. It also said that the country should look within for its internal problems.

During a press conference on Thursday, Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan blamed Afghanistan for the train hijack. He presented evidence of calls traced from Afghanistan. When he was questioned about India’s change of stance towards Afghanistan regarding terrorist attacks, he maintained his stance and said that there has been no policy change. He further said about India, India is involved in sponsoring terrorism against Pakistan.

India gave a befitting reply

India’s Foreign Ministry has now responded to these allegations made by Pakistan. Since the March 11 attack, Pakistan’s military, government and media allies have indirectly alleged Indian involvement in the train attack, while ignoring the security lapses by their own military and intelligence services, and have tried to blame India for the attack.

Responding to media queries on the comments made by Pakistan, Randhir Jaiswal, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, said, “We reject the baseless allegations made by Pakistan. The whole world knows where the epicenter of global terrorism is. Pakistan should look within itself instead of pointing fingers and blaming others for its internal problems and failures.”

Afghanistan also cornered

Pakistan has not only accused India but also Afghanistan for the hijack. In response, the Afghan Foreign Ministry issued a statement rejecting Pakistan’s claims and urging them to address their internal security concerns instead of making baseless allegations.

Hijack happened on 11 March

The Jaffar Express train was hijacked on 11 March in Pakistan. Since this hijacking, the government of the country has been blaming India without naming it and trying to hide its failures. At the time of the hijacking, there were more than 450 passengers on board the train,

More than 450 passengers were involved in the Jaffar Express incident on 11 March, in which 58 people died, including 21 passengers, four soldiers and 33 terrorists of the separatist organization Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). Pakistan constantly accuses India of supporting groups like BLA to create unrest in Balochistan, these allegations have been denied by India.

Like every day in Pakistan, on 11 March, the Jaffar Express left Quetta for Peshawar. No one could have imagined that when the train would pass through a tunnel in the Balon hill, it would be attacked. As soon as the train passed through the tunnel, armed terrorists of BLA who were lying in ambush attacked it.
