Patna: To honor those who contributed to the social development of Bihar, the ‘Champions of Change Bihar’ award was organized at Gyan Bhawan in Patna, where Governor Arif Mohammad Khan presented awards to many personalities including Karpoori Thakur, Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak (posthumously), Shekhar Suman, Neetu Chandra and Khan Sir. Many well-known personalities, MLAs and ministers of Bihar were also present on this occasion.
What did the governor say to the award winners?
Addressing the Champions of Change Bihar program, the governor said that all the award winners are expected to bring revolution in Bihar i.e. become messengers and bring change with ease. Any change should be positive. The deprived should benefit from the change first.
On being honored with the Champions of Bihar Award, YouTuber and teacher Khan Sir said, “I am very happy to receive this award from the Governor. He is a very intellectual person. I will continue to work for the country.”

Shekhar Suman, a well-known comedian and actor from Bihar who was awarded the Champions of Bihar Award, said, “I feel proud. It is a matter of great happiness. For me, I have been honored on my motherland. I hope I am able to fulfill the responsibility given to me.” These personalities were also honored
The Governor of Bihar also honored Bharat Ratna Karpuri Thakur, Padma Vibhushan Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, Padma Bhushan Dr. C P Thakur, Minister Mangal Pandey, Razi Ahmed, Santosh Kumar, Asadullah Khan (educationist), Director of Gandhi Museum Jai Krishna Jha, Sharad Kumar, Garima Devi Sikariya, Madhulika Yadav, Abhishek Singh, Amita Singh, Suresh Jha, Dr. Abhijit Kumar with the ‘Champions of Change Bihar’ award. Many famous personalities have been given this honor posthumously.
