Patna: Today on Friday, Rabri Devi along with her two daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav will appear in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court in the Land For Job Scam case. The court appearance is scheduled to take place around 10 am. Taking cognizance of the ED charge sheet, the court had issued summons. Former Chief Minister Rabri Devi is accused of being involved in the scam, while daughter Misa Bharti is accused of money laundering and Hema Yadav of taking land as a gift.

Rabri Devi and Misa Bharti had left for Delhi from Patna on Wednesday evening itself to appear in the court. In the Land for Job case, ED has accused Rabri Devi along with Lalu Yadav of being involved in this scam. It has been told that the money received from selling the land was given to his son Tejashwi. It was used to buy a bungalow in New Friends Colony, Delhi.

Appearance of 9 people including Rabri-Misa

On January 27, a Delhi court had summoned a total of nine people, including former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi and her daughter Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav, in a money laundering case related to the ‘land for job’ scam. Today all nine people will appear in the court.

Earlier, in the Land for Job case, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav were rigorously interrogated by ED in Patna on January 29 and January 30. On January 29, the special team of ED had interrogated Lalu Prasad Yadav for about 10 hours in the Patna office. It was asked that how many people have been given jobs in Railways after taking land from them? On which posts and where have jobs been given?

Apart from the 4751-page charge sheet filed against him in Rouse Avenue Court, ED had also brought with it the accepted statement of Hridayanand Chaudhary, after showing which questions were also asked. After this, on January 30, former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was also interrogated by ED for about 8:30 hours.
