PM Modi will visit Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh on March 30 and lay the foundation stone of several projects and give gifts worth thousands of crores of rupees to the states, know the schedule

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh on Sunday (30 March). In Nagpur, he will visit Smriti Mandir and Deekshabhoomi, lay the foundation stone of Netralaya and inaugurate the facility of Solar Defense and Aerospace Limited. In Chhattisgarh, he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several development projects worth Rs 33,700 crore in Bilaspur. During this visit of the PM, 3 lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will also be given Griha Pravesh in Chhattisgarh.

PM Modi will pay tribute to the founders of RSS at ‘Smriti Mandir’ located in Reshimbagh, Nagpur on the occasion of the beginning of Hindu New Year on March 30. Memorials of RSS founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and RSS second Sarsanghchalak MS Golwalkar are located in Smriti Mandir. Along with this, he will pay tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar at Deekshabhoomi, where he adopted Buddhism along with thousands of his followers in 1956.

PM Modi’s program in Maharashtra

PM Modi will visit Smriti Mandir in Nagpur on March 30 at around 9 am and then go to Deekshabhoomi. After this, he will lay the foundation stone of Madhav Netralaya Premium Center in Nagpur at around 10 am. This is a new extension building of Madhav Netralaya Eye Institute and Research Center. It was established in the memory of Guruji Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar. Under this scheme, a 250-bed hospital, 14 OPDs and 14 modular operation theaters will be set up. At the same time, PM Modi will also address a public meeting.

After this, PM Modi will visit the ammunition facility of Solar Defense and Aerospace Limited in Nagpur at around 12:30 pm. Where he will inaugurate the Loitering Munition Testing Range and Runway Facility for UAVs. It is a 1250 meter long and 25 meter wide airstrip. It is a live munition and warhead testing facility to test loitering munitions and other war materials.

Many programs one after another in Chhattisgarh

After Maharashtra, PM Modi will leave directly for Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. Where he will lay the foundation stone of several development projects at around 3:30 pm, as well as dedicate several projects worth more than Rs 33,700 crore to the nation. He will lay the foundation stone of NTPC’s Sipat Super Thermal Power Project Phase-III (1x800MW) located in Bilaspur district, which costs more than Rs 9,790 crore. PM will launch the first super critical thermal power project (2X660MW) of Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL). Its cost is more than Rs 15,800 crore.

Apart from this, he will also dedicate three power transmission projects of Powergrid worth more than Rs 560 crore to the nation under the Western Region Expansion Scheme (WRES). After this, PM Modi will also address a rally organized there. During this, 3 lakh beneficiaries will be given Griha Pravesh under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PAMY-G). PM Modi will hand over the keys to some beneficiaries under this scheme. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will dedicate 130 PM Shri Schools in 29 districts of Chhattisgarh.

PM Modi will give this gift to Chhattisgarh

  • He will lay the foundation stone of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL)’s City Gas Distribution (CGD) project in Korea, Surajpur, Balrampur and Surguja districts.
  • He will lay the foundation stone of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL)’s 540 km long Visakh-Raipur Pipeline (VRPL) project, which will cost more than Rs 2210 crore.
  • Special attention will be given to the development of several rail and road projects to improve connectivity, especially in the tribal and industrial areas of Chhattisgarh.
  • PM will lay the foundation stone of seven railway projects with a total length of 108 km. Will dedicate to the nation three railway projects with a total length of 111 km costing over Rs 2,690 crore.
  • Will dedicate to the nation the upgradation of Jhalmala to Sherpar section of NH-930 (37 km) and Ambikapur-Pathalgaon section of NH-43 (75 km) to 2 lanes with paved shoulder.
  • Will also lay the foundation stone for upgradation of Kondagaon-Narayanpur section of NH-130D (47.5 km) to 2 lanes with paved shoulder.
