Politics: A statement by Ram Kishore Shukla from Congress to BJP created a political upheaval in the politics of Madhya Pradesh. After returning home to BJP, he has claimed that he was sent to Congress by RSS.

A statement by Ram Kishore Shukla from Congress to BJP has created a political upheaval in politics in Madhya Pradesh. Shukla had left BJP and joined Congress just before the assembly elections last year. Congress had fielded him from Mhow assembly seat. Shukla got only 29,144 votes and stood third. At the same time, his security deposit was also confiscated. Now after returning home to BJP, he has claimed that he was sent to Congress by RSS.

Shukla said, ‘I joined Congress just before the elections, contested the elections from Mhow on Congress ticket and lost. All this was done as part of an election strategy and I did this at the behest of a senior RSS leader in October last year. He believed that BJP had to win the seat at any cost. At that time the situation was completely opposite, it did not seem that Usha Didi would win the elections, the Sangh people were very worried about this. A large number of people were dissatisfied within the party. After this I decided to contest elections and lost. If two people fought, they would definitely lose.’ Shukla also claimed that Antar Singh Darbar had also been fielded by BJP as an independent candidate.

Darbar threatened to file a case against Ram Kishore Shukla
When he was asked who was the RSS leader who asked him to contest the elections, he took the name of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Indore division organization minister Abhishek Udeniya. His statement went viral. The first reaction after this came from Darbar, who threatened to sue his fellow party leader. He said that this is the height of irresponsibility of a senior leader like Shukla. This is a completely false allegation that BJP has fielded me. He has asked Shukla to issue a clarification. If he does not respond then he will file a defamation case against him.

Usha defeated Antar Singh Darbar by 34 thousand votes
Actually, veteran BJP leader Usha Thakur had won the seat by defeating independent candidate and former Congressman Antar Singh Darbar by a margin of 34,392 votes. Darbar had won the Mhow seat twice, but he rebelled after Congress gave him the ticket in 2023, after which he contested the elections as an independent. Now both these leaders are in BJP. Antar Singh Darbar joined the party last month and Shukla recently.
