Prayagraj: There have been large scale transfers of judges in Uttar Pradesh. A total of 582 judges have been transferred on the orders of Allahabad High Court. High Court Registrar General Rajiv Bharti has issued a notification. It has been told that 236 Additional District and Sessions Judges, 207 Civil Judges Senior Division and 139 Civil Judges Junior Division have been transferred.

The famous judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar, who gave the verdict in the Gyanvapi case of Varanasi, has also been transferred. He has been transferred from Bareilly to Chitrakoot.

Recently the case of Delhi High Court judge Justice Yashwant Verma was in the headlines. Actually, this matter had gained momentum after a fire broke out at his house. He was not at home at the time when this fire broke out. In this case, Justice Yashwant Verma also consulted four senior lawyers at his residence in Delhi. Let us tell you that a three-member committee formed by the Supreme Court is investigating the cash scandal and Justice Verma has to present his explanation before that committee.
