Prayagraj: UP STF has killed a dreaded criminal from Jharkhand in an encounter. The criminal had an encounter with ATS in Shankargarh police station area of Yamunanagar. In retaliation, UP STF killed dreaded criminal Ashish Ranjan alias Chhotu of Dhanbad.
AK 47, pistol and large quantity of cartridges recovered
Police said that an AK 47, pistol and a large quantity of cartridges have been recovered from the criminal from the encounter site. Cunning criminal Ashish Ranjan alias Chhotu, seeing himself surrounded at Shivrajpur intersection of Shankargarh police station area, attacked the STF team with AK 47 and 9 MM pistol. He was killed in retaliation.
When ATS surrounded him, he opened fire
STF Prayagraj team received information that mafia criminal Ashish Ranjan alias Chhotu Singh, resident of JC Mallick Road, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, wanted for several murders, is going to Prayagraj with his partner via Shivrajpur intersection Shankargarh police station Prayagraj.
