President Draupadi Murmu is arriving in Mathura, the city of Krishna, today, Thursday, September 25th. The district administration has made elaborate security arrangements for her arrival. A large number of security forces have been deployed at every nook and corner. In view of the President’s visit, all schools in Mathura and Vrindavan have been declared closed today.
Officials have provided information regarding preparations for President Draupadi Murmu’s visit. They stated that police personnel have been deployed at every corner. Entry to most roads in the city has been restricted, which may cause difficulties for people to travel.
Schools to remain closed today in Mathura and Vrindavan
In view of the President’s visit, a holiday has been declared for all schools in Mathura and Vrindavan. During this period, all schools from grades 1 to 12 in the district will remain closed. This decision was taken to avoid difficulties in commuting and to ensure the safety of students. All departments have already been informed in this regard.
District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Shlok Kumar stated that security arrangements have been tightened in Mathura and Vrindavan in view of the President’s visit. They stated that eight companies (approximately 1,000 soldiers) of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) have been deployed, along with 4,000 state police personnel and officers.
Tight Security Arrangements in Mathura
Officers and security personnel from central security agencies in Delhi are also actively performing their duties. They stated that every inch of the area, from the President’s arrival to the event venues, will be monitored. Security forces will be deployed on all incoming and outgoing routes.
According to official sources, since this is a private religious visit for the President, State Cabinet Minister Choudhary Laxminarayan will receive the President in place of the Chief Minister. He will arrive at the Vrindavan Road station in the morning accompanied by officials for the welcome.
