Indian-origin American businessman and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The picture of which was shared on PM Modi’s own social media platform. He wrote that we have discussed various aspects of innovation, technology and artificial intelligence (AI). On which Satya Nadella said that I am looking forward to working towards making India the leader in AI.
Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platform X that Satya Nadella, it was really nice to meet you. Happy to know about Microsoft’s ambitious expansion and investment plans in India. PM Modi told that various aspects of innovation, technology and AI were discussed in the meeting.

Has met PM earlier also
Nadella last came to India in February 2024. He has met PM Modi before this also. At that time Nadella had praised the Digital India campaign a lot. Along with this, he had announced to expand the ‘Code Without Barriers’ program in India as well. Under this, 75,000 women developers were to be skilled in 2024.
Nadella has also met Telangana CM
On December 30, Satya Nadella met Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. During this, Reddy had sought support from Nadella to develop a strong IT mechanism. This is so that Hyderabad can be made the top city in the world in the field of technology.
