PM Modi’s Address

In his address, PM Modi said, “The place where you are all sitting is a very important place in India’s democratic journey. In the last years of slavery, when India’s independence was certain, the Constituent Assembly met in this very Central Hall to draft the Constitution of India. For 75 years after India’s independence, this building served as the Parliament of India. Many decisions and discussions related to India’s future took place in this hall. India has named this place, dedicated to democracy, as the Constitution House.”

PM Modi shared an interesting observation

PM Modi said that interestingly, Speakers don’t get much opportunity to speak. Their job is to listen to others and ensure that everyone gets a chance to speak. A common trait among Speakers is their patience. They handle even the noisy and over-enthusiastic members with a smile.”

India is the world’s fastest-growing economy

PM Modi said, “India is the world’s fastest-growing major economy. India’s UPI is the world’s largest digital payment system. India is the world’s largest vaccine producer. India is the world’s second-largest steel producer. India has the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem. India is the world’s third-largest aviation market. India has the world’s fourth-largest rail network. India has the world’s third-largest metro rail network.” He added, “The hallmark of democracy in India is that the benefits reach the last person.” We are working for the welfare of every individual without any discrimination, and it is this spirit of public welfare that has lifted 250 million people out of poverty in India in the last few years.”
