Punjab News: A very painful and shocking incident has come to light from Patiala district of Punjab. In fact, on Sunday (June 22), 3 members of the same family were found dead in an SUV car. The incident took place near Chharbar village in Rajpura area of the district, where all three bodies were found in an SUV car parked on the roadside. The deceased have been identified as Sandeep Singh (45), his wife Mandeep Kaur (40) and their son Abhay (18).
Truck driver had informed about the case – Police
According to the police, it is suspected that this case may be of murder and suicide. Rajpura Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Manjit Singh said that a truck driver was the first to inform about the incident. The driver was passing through Banur-Shambhu Road when he saw that an SUV was parked on the side of the road for a long time and there was no response despite blowing the horn. On suspicion, he got down and looked inside the car and saw all three bodies.
Bullet marks on the bodies of all three – Police
DSP Manjit Singh said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the deceased Sandeep Singh was a property consultant and had a licensed pistol. Police suspect that Sandeep first shot his wife Mandeep and son Abhay and then shot himself. Bullet marks have been found on the bodies of all three.
At present, the police have seized the vehicle and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The reasons behind the incident are being investigated, in which family feud, mental stress or any other aspect is also being taken into consideration. This heart-wrenching incident has sent a wave of mourning across the area and the local people are also shocked as to what happened that a happy family ended like this.
