A Scott vehicle included in the convoy of Bihar Assembly opposition leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav collided with a car. In the accident, the driver of the Scott vehicle, Mohammad Halim, died on the spot. At the same time, about half a dozen policemen are injured. The deceased driver is a resident of Madhubani TOP police station area. On the other hand, 4 more people traveling in the other car were injured in the accident. All the injured are being treated at GHCH hospital in Purnia. Out of which the condition of 5 people is very serious. The incident is being reported near Belauri of Mufassil police station of Purnia.
The injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
As soon as information about the incident was received, SP Upendranath Verma reached GMCH where he instructed the doctor to provide proper treatment to all the injured. Verma said that the Purnia Police vehicle met with an accident on NH 31. In which one has died while many civilians including 6 policemen are injured. However, he refused to speak about Tejashwi Yadav being a convoy. Let us tell you that during the Jan Vishwas Yatra, Tejashwi Yadav’s convoy was passing through Belauri in Purnia. This Scott vehicle was also included in this convoy. The vehicle went to the wrong side on Purnia Katihar four lane road. After which it collided with a red colored civilian car coming from Katihar side. After receiving information about the incident, the family members of the deceased reached the hospital. The wife of the deceased and her family members are crying in bad condition. A major accident has taken place in Purnia, Bihar. Here the car in the escort of former Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav became victim of a horrific road accident. This accident happened during Tejashwi Yadav’s Jan Vishwas Yatra. It is being told that the escort car of the former Deputy CM was going from the wrong side, during which the escort car hit the car coming from the front. The collision was so strong that the car was blown to pieces. The driver of the escort car died in the accident.
The accident took place near Belauri Apsara Mangal Bhawan on NH 131A Purnia-Katihar main road in Mofussil police station area. The driver who was the victim of the accident has been identified as Mo Haleem, a resident of Sipahi Tola of Madhubani TOP of the city.
6 soldiers injured, three in critical condition
Along with this, 6 BMP soldiers traveling on the vehicle are injured, out of which the condition of three soldiers is said to be critical. The injured soldiers have been identified as Ranjan Kumar, Naresh Kumar Singh, Angad Kumar, Manish Kumar, Shambhu Kumar and Vijay Kumar. The injured have been admitted to GMCH Purnia.
Five people including a woman were traveling in the car
Police reached the spot after the accident. After this, with the help of local people, everyone was admitted to GMCH Purnia. There were five people in the car which was hit by the Escort vehicle. Among them there is one woman and 4 men. The woman has been admitted to Sun Rise Hospital located in Line Bazaar.
The lives of the remaining soldiers were saved due to the opening of the air bag.
Regarding the accident, eyewitnesses said that Tejashwi’s escort car was going from the wrong side and hit the car going to Forbesganj near Belauri Apsara Mangal Bhawan on NH 131A Purnia-Katihar main road. The collision was so strong that both the escort vehicle and the car were blown to pieces. After getting information about the incident, SP Upendra Nath Verma reached Purnia GMCH and met the injured to inquire about their well being. SP Upendra Nath Sharma said that the air bag of the Scout vehicle opened immediately after the accident. Because of which everyone’s lives were saved.
