Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Election Commission for the third time in the last 10 days. Rahul said on Saturday, India’s election system is dead. We will prove to you in the coming days how rigging can happen in the Lok Sabha elections and it happened too.
The PM of India has a very small majority. If there was no rigging even in 10-15 seats, he would not have been the Prime Minister of India. Rahul said these things in the Annual Legal Conclave- 2025 organized at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.
At the same time, the Election Commission (ECI) has released the letter sent to Rahul Gandhi today on June 12. According to the ECI, this letter was sent on the statements made by him regarding the Maharashtra elections and asked to meet and prove the allegations. Rahul has not yet responded to this letter nor met.
Earlier on August 1, Rahul had said that the Election Commission is getting votes stolen. We have an atom bomb. When it explodes, the Election Commission will not survive. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh responded to Rahul’s statement on Saturday. Rajnath said – If you have a nuclear bomb, explode it. Yes, take care that you remain safe.
Rahul’s speech, made 4 allegations
I have been suspicious of the election system since 2014. It was surprising that the BJP won such a big victory. I could not say anything without proof, but now I say without any doubt that we have proof.
In the Lok Sabha, we won the election. And then four months later, we not only lost, but were completely wiped out. We found that in Maharashtra, one crore new voters were added between the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Most of these votes go to the BJP.
The institution that protects the Constitution has been wiped out and captured. We have such evidence that will show the whole country that an institution like the Election Commission does not exist at all. It has disappeared.
An institution like the Election Commission does not work properly. You will be surprised to know that the documents provided by the Election Commission cannot be scanned or copied. Why does the Election Commission apply scan and copy protection on the voter list?
ECI wrote – Congress can go to court if it has objections
The letter issued by the Election Commission states that the Congress had earlier made similar allegations after the November 2024 elections, to which a detailed reply was given on December 24, 2024.
The letter states that the elections were conducted with complete transparency, as per the law and under the supervision of thousands of officials. The Commission also said that if the Congress had any legal objection, it could have filed an election petition in the court. The Election Commission wrote,
Still, if Rahul Gandhi has any other complaint, he can write to the Commission or meet in person. The Commission has also suggested fixing a date and time for the talks.
The Election Commission had responded a day earlier…
The Election Commission had responded on Friday to Rahul Gandhi, who is constantly targeting the Election Commission. The Election Commission issued a statement saying that the Election Commission ignores such baseless allegations.
Despite the constant threats, we want to tell all election officials to work in a fair and transparent manner as before. Ignore irresponsible statements.
Rahul targets election officials, 2 cases…
1 August 2025: Rahul said – I have 100% proof of theft
Rahul further said that I am not saying this lightly, but with hundred percent proof. As soon as we release it, the whole country will know that the Election Commission is working to steal votes for the BJP. We had doubts in Madhya Pradesh elections, Lok Sabha elections, our doubts increased during Maharashtra elections.
24 July 2025: You think that we will be saved, this is your misunderstanding
Rahul said, ‘The Election Commission committed fraud in one seat in Karnataka. We have 100% proof of this. In the same constituency, thousands of new voters of 50, 60 and 65 years have been added to the list and voters above 18 years of age have been removed from the list.’
The Congress MP said, ‘We just found this irregularity while investigating one seat. I am sure that this drama is going on in every seat. I want to give a message to the Election Commission. If you think that you will get away with this, then this is your misunderstanding.
