Yesterday i.e. on Monday, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav posted a 33-second video of Amrit Bharat Express in her tweet. Let us tell you that people were getting good response regarding Vande Bharat trains, in view of which Indian Railways had launched Amrit Bharat Express train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had gifted two Amrit Bharat Expresses to the country on December 30, 2023, and flagged them off from Ayodhya.
How different is Amrit Bharat Express from Vande Bharat?
Like Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat is also a pull-push train equipped with modern facilities. It has two engines at the front and rear, due to which it can easily accelerate and there are less jerks.
The maximum speed of this train is 130 km per hour. Its interior is also completely new, Amrit Bharat is a non AC train while Vande Bharat is an AC train. Amrit Bharat has sleeper coaches while Vande Bharat is a sitting train. There is enough space for luggage in this train and the seats are also comfortable.
Amrit Bharat trains also have modern modular toilets and are also equipped with many mobile charging points and mobile holders.
