Railways will be completely transformed, in the next seven-eight years railway preparations to replace all trains

Under the modernization drive of Indian Railways, the old version of trains will be left behind and all will be replaced with a new version. Now four types of passenger trains will run on the tracks.

Vande Bharat Metro will be run for short distance, Vande Bharat Express for medium distance and two types of trains will be run for long distance- Vande Bharat Sleeper and Amrit Bharat Express. Preparations are on to take Vande Bharat trains to the next stage. Railways is now engaged in making all trains in these four versions.

Preparations are on to replace all trains in the next seven-eight years. Vande Bharat Metro will have at least four and maximum 16 coaches. It will be run for those big cities which have another city or suburb at a distance of about 100-200 km. Its first look has been revealed. Train passengers who travel daily from small cities to big cities for work or business will be facilitated by this. This train will be run between cities like Patna to Gaya, Delhi to Meerut, Agra to Mathura, Lucknow to Kanpur. The number of coaches can be increased or decreased depending on the crowd and need. The fare will be like normal trains, but the facilities will be state-of-the-art.

 

Work is going on fast on Vande Bharat Metro

Work is going on fast on Vande Bharat Metro. 50 trains are almost ready. The first train will also come for testing in July. For this, 124 routes across the country have been identified. On the lines of metro, the maximum speed of Vande Metro will be 130 kmph. It will have around 100 seats for sitting and 200 people can travel standing. Medium distance Vande Bharat Express trains are being run to travel between two cities between 500 km and 800 km. Its maximum speed is 160 kmph, but it has to be increased to 200 kmph. Currently, the number of such trains is 75. It has to be increased to 400.

 

Two types of trains are being designed for long distance

Indian Railways is designing two types of trains for long distance. Vande Bharat Sleeper will be run for a distance of more than 800 km. Passengers can also travel by sleeping in it. The second train will be Vande Bharat Ordinary, which will be without AC. These are to be run on those routes where the problem of waiting is more and a large number of passengers depart for big cities daily. The maximum speed of Vande Bharat Express is currently 183 km per hour, but work is underway to increase it further in the future. There are plans to run Vande Aadhar at a maximum speed of 130. Both types of trains will have at least 12 and maximum 16 bogies.
