Raipur: Three nurses have been dismissed from their services for allegedly making a reel inside the operation theater of a government hospital in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur and sharing it on social media. Officials gave this information on Monday.
What is the whole matter?
Dr. Hemant Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Raipur-based Dau Kalyan Singh Postgraduate Institute and Research Center, said that daily wage staff nurses Pushpa Sahu, Trupti Dasar and Tej Kumari were dismissed on February 23 after a complaint was received against them.
Sharma told that on the fifth of this month, all three had made the reel inside the operation theater of the Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit. When the Assistant Nursing Superintendent came to know about this, he informed the top officials about the incident.
He said, ‘Taking photographs and making reels inside the operation theater is against the rules. The three nurses had entered the operation theater wearing shoes and sandals worn outside and had made the reel, which is against the rules.
Sharma said that when the ward in-charge nurse objected to their actions, the trio allegedly misbehaved with her. He said that after investigation of the complaint, all three nurses have been dismissed from their services.
In one of the two reels shared by the hospital management, the three nurses, dressed in green attire used in operation theatres, are seen dancing while holding surgical instruments to the Bollywood song ‘Phirta Rahoon Main Dar Badar’. In another reel, she is seen dancing on the song ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’.
