Indore: Police have arrested five accused in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. However, Raja’s brother has now demanded a narco test in this case. Raja’s brother says that to reveal the whole truth of this murder, narco test of two main accused – Sonam and Raj Kushwaha should be done. Raja Raghuvanshi’s elder brother Sachin Raghuvanshi said, “We want Meghalaya Police to conduct narco test of Sonam and Raj Kushwaha, so that the whole truth of my brother’s murder can come out.” Sachin further said, “From the reports coming out about the interrogation of Sonam and Raj by Meghalaya Police, we feel that both are misleading the investigators by calling each other the mastermind of this incident in collusion.” Sachin claimed that Sonam and Raj could not have carried out the conspiracy to murder his brother on their own.
“More people may be involved”
Sachin said, “I think more people are involved in the murder, who are still out of the grasp of Meghalaya Police. The names of these people can also be known from the narco test of Sonam and Raj.” Sachin, Raja’s brother, demanded a detailed investigation of the whole case and also suspected that relatives of Sonam and Raj are also involved in this whole case. Sachin has especially suspected Sonam’s mother that she already knew about both of them. Despite this, the mother got Sonam married to Raja by applying pressure. Sachin demanded that the trial be conducted in a fast track court and demanded that the culprits be given double life imprisonment.

Sachin said, “I think there are other people involved in the murder who are still out of the reach of Meghalaya police. The names of these people can also be known from the narco test of Sonam and Kushwaha.”
Did the family know about Sonam and Raj’s relationship?
Raja Raghuvanshi’s brother demanded a detailed investigation into the murder case and also expressed suspicion that the woman’s family, especially her mother, already knew about the alleged close relationship between Sonam and Kushwaha, but despite this, Sonam was forced to marry Raja by putting family pressure on her. He also demanded that the trial of Raja Raghuvanshi murder case be conducted in a fast track court and those found guilty in it should be sentenced to ‘double life imprisonment’.
Raj Kushwaha is the mastermind of this case
SP Vivek Sayam of East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya had said on Thursday that the conspiracy to murder Raja was hatched in Indore on May 11, just before his marriage with Sonam. The mastermind of this murder is none other than Raj Kushwaha. Sonam had given her consent for this conspiracy. The three other accused arrested in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case – Vishal Chauhan, Akash Rajput and Anand Kurmi – were initially suspected to be ‘hired killers’, but the Meghalaya police now say they are Kushwaha’s friends.
The other accused are not contract killers, but Raj’s friends
The SP said, “The three youths involved in the murder are Kushwaha’s friends, one of whom is his cousin. This is not a common case of contract killing, but the conspiracy was to kill and the three youths carried it out to help their friend Kushwaha.” Sayam said that Kushwaha had given Rs 50,000 to the three youths for expenses. He said that the conspiracy to kill Raja Raghuvanshi started in Indore in February and the accused had thought of ways for Sonam to escape after the incident.
