A shocking incident has come to light from Jaipur, Rajasthan. 10 students studying in a coaching institute located in Mahesh Nagar area here suddenly fainted on Sunday evening. All of them were admitted to the nearest hospital. At present, the condition of all the students is said to be out of danger. According to police officials, this probably happened due to the gas from the gutter or the smoke from the kitchen on the roof of the institute.
Police officials present at the spot said that due to the smell coming from the gutter and the cooking in the kitchen on the roof of the building, the smoke came down, due to which the children studying in the coaching institute had difficulty in breathing and they fainted.
Police is investigating the whole matter
They said that 8 girls, two boys and a cook are also included among those who fainted. Dismissing the possibility of ‘food poisoning’, the officials said that the condition of the affected students is now ‘normal’. A doctor of a private hospital located in the area said that seven children were admitted here due to difficulty in breathing, although two children were taken elsewhere. He told that all the children had trouble breathing and were constantly coughing but they had no other problem. At present, the police is engaged in gathering information about the cause of the gas leak.
Police-youth face-to-face outside the hospital
Meanwhile, after the incident, a large number of youth gathered outside the hospital. Former Rajasthan University student union president Nirmal Chaudhary reached the spot with his supporters and protested against the incident. During this, there was tension between the police and the youth. Later, Nirmal Chaudhary sat on a dharna with his supporters outside the hospital. On receiving the information about the incident, Jaipur MP Manju Sharma also reached to meet the students admitted in the hospital.
