Rajasthan IAS-IPS Transfer: Bhajan Lal government of Rajasthan has once again issued an order for a major administrative reshuffle. The state government has made another change in the police and administrative structure and transferred 22 officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and 58 officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS). The Personnel Department issued orders in this regard late on Sunday night. Under the order, 6 divisional commissioners and 6 district magistrates have been transferred. In the police department, Superintendents of Police of 15 districts and 2 Range Inspectors General of Police have been transferred.
- IAS Dr. Pratibha Singh has been removed from the post of Divisional Commissioner of Pali and made Divisional Commissioner of Jodhpur.
- Executive Director of Rajasthan Urban Development and Infrastructure Corporation (RUDSICCO) Rajendra Vijay has been made Divisional Commissioner of Kota.
- District Magistrates of Sawai Madhopur, Didwana, Rajsamand, Deeg, Beawar and Churu have been changed.
Under the transfer of IPS,
- Inspector General (Security) Rajesh Meena has been posted as Inspector General of Udaipur Range.
- Ajaypal Lamba has been posted as Inspector General of Jaipur Range from Inspector General (Udaipur Range).
- Biju George Joseph will continue to be the Police Commissioner of Jaipur.
- Similarly, Superintendents of Police of 15 districts including Hanumangarh, Jaipur Rural, Jodhpur Rural, Bhilwara, Alwar, Ajmer and Tonk have been changed.
The Bhajanlal Sharma government has changed the workload of officers on a large scale for the second time in the month of September. Earlier on September 5, 108 IAS officers were transferred in the state, in which collectors of 12 districts were also changed.
