A case of love jihad has surfaced in the Sadar police station area of ​​Alwar. A postgraduate student from the Katoriwala Tibra area filed a complaint against a 32-year-old builder from Mahua Khard, accusing him of fraudulently marrying her, concealing his true identity, and subjecting her to physical and mental torture. However, late last night, the woman submitted a written undertaking not to take any action and withdrew her complaint.

According to the victim’s family, the young woman befriended the accused on Instagram about three years ago. The young man, claiming to be a Hindu named Rahul, gained her trust and gradually grew closer. Later, the accused threatened to kill the woman, coercing her into a court marriage with him in Delhi.

For two years of marriage, the woman remained unaware that Rahul was actually a Muslim man named Aziz, who was already married and the father of a daughter. The victim alleged that Aziz had recently brought his second wife home and that she was beaten when she protested. Upon learning of the incident, former MLA Banwari Lal, BJP officials, and several social workers rushed to the police station and demanded strict action against the accused. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
