A case similar to UP’s SDM Jyoti Maurya has come to light in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. Here, a person worked hard and got his wife educated as per her wish after marriage and also got her BSTC course done. Now that his wife has become a government teacher, she does not want to live with him.

Know the whole matter
This shocking case is from Salempur Khurd village of Bhusawar police station area of the district. Anoop Kumar, son of Moti Lal Jatav, who lives here, was married to Pankaj Kumari, a resident of Nagla Haveli, on 14 November 2021. After marriage, as per his wife’s wish, the husband worked hard and got his wife educated and also got her BSTC course done. Now that his wife has become a government teacher, she does not want to live with him. The matter has reached the Additional District Judge. The aggrieved husband Anoop Kumar has appealed to the District Collector by giving a complaint.

Sent for coaching, also got a mobile
Anoop Kumar told that he was married to Pankaj Kumari, a resident of Nagla Haveli, on 14 November 2021. After marriage, as per the wish of his wife, Anoop worked hard to educate his wife and also got her BSTC course done and also bore other expenses including coaching. Got a rented room near Surajpol gate of Bharatpur for coaching and bore the expenses of food and drink. Got BSTC done in the year 2021 and got coaching. Also got a mobile phone worth Rs 10500 for coaching.

Wife changed after getting a job
The wife had said that when she becomes something after studying, she will take care of her family, the condition of the house will improve. After succeeding in the first level 2023 teacher examination issued by the state government, she became a teacher in a government school. But as soon as she got a government job, a change started coming in the behavior of the wife. She started misbehaving with her in-laws and after getting the job, on May 2, 2025, the wife refused to live with him.

The father sold the crop and gave money for her studies
The victim Anup Kumar said that my wife has got a job as a teacher in a government school in Rupbas tehsil. My wife has passed the L-1 recruitment exam of REET 2023 and has submitted documents by the Education Department by hiding facts and claiming herself to be unmarried at the time of verification of documents in the related recruitment, this should be investigated.

Anup’s father Moti Lal said, my son worked as a labourer and got his wife educated and got her a government job, but now his wife has refused to live with him. I had also given money for her studies by selling my crop.
