Rajasthan: Major accident in Jhunjhunu, 14 officers trapped in the mine due to lift breaking, rescue operation is going on and all the ambulances have been called from nearby hospitals.

Scary news of the accident is coming out from Jhunjhunu city of Rajasthan. A total of 14 officials are trapped in the mine due to the breakdown of lift in HCL’s Kolihan mine. After the accident, an ambulance and a team of doctors have been called to the spot. This incident happened late at night, after which the rescue operation is being carried out with the help of police and administration.

How did the accident happen?
The lift machine has fallen down in the Kolihan mine of Hindustan Copper Limited in Khetri area of Jhunjhunu. At the time of the accident, 14 senior officers including the Vigilance team from Kolkata were present in the lift. At present, the rescue operation is going on at the spot and all the ambulances have been called from nearby hospitals. Along with this, teams of doctors have also been asked to be prepared for emergencies.

BJP MLA at the spot
On the incident in Kolihan mine, BJP MLA Dharampal Gurjar said that I had gone to Haryana for election campaign but when I got this information, I immediately came here. I called everyone and took stock of the entire situation. I have called the SDM here. Rescue teams are deployed and 6-7 ambulances are parked here. The entire administration is on alert. He said that there is no news of any casualty yet, surely everyone will come out safely.
