Rajasthan: Major reshuffle in bureaucracy, government transferred more than 90 IPS and 142 RAS, 12 IAS transferred

Jaipur: A major administrative reshuffle has been done in Rajasthan. The government has transferred 91 IPS and 142 RAS. At the same time, 12 IAS have also been transferred. The Personnel Department has issued an order in this regard.

Senior IPS officer Rajesh Meena has been removed from Udaipur and made Inspector General of Police, Jodhpur Range. Ravi Dutt Gaur has been posted as Inspector General of Police Headquarters, Jaipur. Currently he was posted on the same post in Kota. Om Prakash has been made the Police Commissioner of Jodhpur.

Transfer list of IPS officers

An officer of Rajasthan Administrative Service has been made the Deputy Commissioner of Jaipur Development Authority. Manoj Kumar Meena has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Colonization Department, Nachana (Jaisalmer). Similarly, Jagat Rajeshwar has been made District Logistics Officer (First), Jaipur.

62 IAS officers were transferred last month

Earlier last month, the Rajasthan government transferred 62 IAS officers, including 11 District Collectors (DCs), in a major administrative reshuffle. Senior officials of key departments like Finance, Home and Industry were replaced and 21 IAS officers were given additional charge. One of the biggest changes is the transfer of senior IAS officer Akhil Arora from the Finance Department, where he served for five years. Now he has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the Water Supply Department.

IAS Anand Kumar, who was holding the charge of Home Department since October 2022, was transferred to the Forest Department. The Finance Department has now come under Vaibhav Galaria who has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Finance Department.
