Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has got a big victory in the Panchayat Raj by-elections of Rajasthan. BJP has won 10 out of 16 seats in Panchayat Samiti member by-elections. BJP has also captured 2 out of 3 seats of Zila Parishad.
Public showed mirror to Congress
Rajasthan BJP state president Madan Rathore has expressed happiness. He said that in the Panchayat Raj by-elections, the public has put a stamp on the development politics of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma by expressing confidence in BJP. These results have accelerated the development work in all 200 assembly constituencies of the state. The public has shown the mirror to Congress and expressed full confidence in BJP.

More than 50% of the promises of the Sankalp Patra fulfilled
Madan Rathore said that the Bhajan Lal government of the state has fulfilled more than 50% of the promises of the Sankalp Patra in its one year tenure by giving priority to public interest. Employment, increase in farmers’ income, calendar of recruitment examinations, and investment agreements worth more than Rs 35 lakh crore reflect the commitment of the government. The public has stamped the development work by electing BJP candidates.
