CM Bhajanlal Sharma Targets Ashok Gehlot: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Wednesday (March 26) targeted former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot. He said that he (Ashok Gehlot) does not come to the Vidhan Sabha, but remains active on social media.

At the same time, Ashok Gehlot retorted to this and said that the Chief Minister should tell when the purchase of millet at the minimum support price (MSP) will start in the state?

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma was addressing the Kisan Sammelan in Bikaner. He said, “Our former Chief Minister (Gehlot) did not come to the Vidhan Sabha even for a single day, but I can say that he remains active on ‘X’ every day and wants to remain in the headlines.” Sharma said, “‘X’ does not work here. You have to go among the people of Rajasthan, you have to understand their sorrow and pain. It is the government’s job to completely remove the pain and suffering of the people.”

CM targets Rahul Gandhi

Pointing towards Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, he said that a young leader of Congress had come among the farmers and assured them that the entire debt of the farmers would be waived off, but this did not happen.

Sharma said, “The leader had talked about making gold from potatoes. We cannot make gold from potatoes, we do not have this machine, but if the farmers of Rajasthan get water properly, then the farmers can definitely extract gold from the land.”

Ashok Gehlot’s counterattack

After Bhajanlal Sharma’s comment, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reminded him that he was demanding the purchase of millet at MSP from the then Congress government.

Gehlot shared Sharma’s old post and wrote on ‘X’, “Chief Minister, I want to remind you of this post (tweet) of yours which is about two and a half years old in which you were protesting against the Congress government demanding the purchase of millets at the minimum support price (MSP).” Gehlot said, “Chief Minister, your government is now going to complete one and a half years. In your manifesto too, there was a promise of purchasing millets at MSP. Today, please tell us when are you going to start purchasing millets at MSP?
