Rajasthan: Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Dr. Kirori Lal Meena took action by conducting a surprise inspection of 9 factories in Sriganganagar on Tuesday, June 3. This action created a stir in the area. During the inspection, 8 factories were sealed. The minister said that these factories were supplying fake seeds to the farmers, which is affecting their crops.

Meena, along with a team of officials and experts, visited the factories and also checked the quality of the seeds stored there. In the investigation conducted by the experts, these seeds were found to be fake.

Kirori Lal Meena said, “This is a fraud with the farmers. Farmers buy seeds trusting these brands, but these seeds do not give the expected production.”

He said that a large quantity of fake seeds have been seized. This is a well-planned conspiracy, which is affecting both the hard work and financial condition of the farmers.

Fake fertilizers found in many factories of Kishangarh too- Meena
The Agriculture Minister said that earlier he had also inspected many factories in Kishangarh, Ajmer, where fake fertilizers and fake bags of various brands were found. During that time also many FIRs were registered and the related factories were sealed. The government is now continuously taking strict action to end this entire network.

Meena also made it clear that those who mislead the farmers will not be spared. He has instructed the departmental officials to identify such factories across the state and take action. This activism of the minister is being considered a concrete step towards protecting the interests of the farmers.
