Rajasthan Minister On CM Mamata Banerjee: The Rajasthan government has completely rejected the statement of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, in which she accused the government of holding illegal Bengalis in Rajasthan.
Rajasthan’s Minister of State for Home, Jawahar Bedam, said that Mamata Banerjee is making baseless and absurd statements. He clarified that if a person is living illegally in Rajasthan, then the state police has the right to check his documents. This process continues continuously.
The Minister of State for Home further said that illegal Bangladeshi citizens or those who are trying to settle in Rajasthan by crossing the border illegally, all of them are being investigated and identified.
Jawahar Bedam also said that elections are near in West Bengal and Mamata Banerjee’s political ground is slipping, so she is giving such statements to mislead the people there. He further said that this is Mamata Banerjee’s frustration and she needs to think that she is not even able to ensure the safety of Hindus in her state.
It is worth noting that West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has made serious allegations against the BJP government of Rajasthan and said that 300-400 Bengali speaking labourers have been kept hostage in Rajasthan.
Mamta Banerjee has said that the Bengali citizens who went to Rajasthan for employment have Indian documents, yet they are being called Bangladeshis. She has instructed the Chief Secretary of West Bengal to talk to the Rajasthan government on this issue.
She has also urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to pay attention to this matter. Regarding this, this statement of Rajasthan’s Minister of State for Home Jawahar Bedam has come out today.
