The residents of Pilani town of Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan are very troubled by the terror of stray bulls. The stray bulls creating ruckus on the main roads of the city are not only endangering the lives of the common people but also causing damage to shops and vehicles. A CCTV footage of the terror of stray bulls has surfaced, in which it can be clearly seen how a bull suddenly hits a bike rider on the way to Triveni Pyaau.
The bike rider does not even get a chance to recover from the bull’s attack. The collision is so strong that the bike rider jumps in the air and falls into the drain on the side of the road. After the video surfaced, the city residents have appealed to the municipality to select a place for the stray bulls roaming around the city and keep them there. Every day some accident or the other is coming to light.
Animals are the main reason for road accidents
A large number of road accidents occur in the country due to animals. According to a report by Eko, stray dogs cause 62% of accidents, cows cause 29% and buffaloes cause 4%. Another report said that stray dogs cause 69% of accidents, cattle cause 21% and bulls cause 5%. According to reports, 20.3% of accidents in Delhi and 18.2% in Mumbai are caused by animals.
