Rajasthan: The Department of Autonomous Governance of the Rajasthan Government issued an order to keep non-vegetarian shops closed for two days in the state.

Non-vegetarian shops will remain closed for two days in Rajasthan. The government led by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has taken this decision. All non-vegetarian shops will remain closed in the state on 28 August and 6 September. This decision has been taken by the state government in view of Paryushan festival and Anant Chaturdashi. Paryushan festival will be celebrated on 28 August. Along with this, Anant Chaturdashi is on 6 September.

The state government’s autonomous governance department has issued an order in this regard on Monday (25 August). For the first time, the Rajasthan government has also included egg sellers in this order, that is, on 28 August and 6 September, not only chicken, meat and fish shops will remain closed, but eggs will also not be sold. Apart from this, slaughterhouses will also be kept completely closed.

The order to ban non-vegetarian shops is applicable in the whole of Rajasthan. More than 1000 egg carts and shops are running in the Pink City Jaipur itself. For the first time, the government has banned the sale of eggs. Till now, only slaughter houses, shops selling mutton-chicken, fish and raw meat were kept closed. The government’s order will be implemented in the entire state.

The government has been issuing orders on special religious festivals

In Rajasthan, slaughter houses along with non-veg shops have been kept closed on these special religious festivals for a long time. Especially on the demand of Jain community and other religious organizations, the state government has been issuing orders regarding such bans. Although egg carts or shops selling eggs were exempted from this, but this time it was also included in the order.

Action will be taken on violation of the order

The government of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has made it clear that action will be taken against those who violate the order. Action will be taken by the Municipal Corporation and the local administration.
