According to the report of Aaj Tak, 1500 to 2000 liters of diesel was kept to run the generator kept in the TRP Game Zone. Similarly, there was 1000 to 1500 liters of petrol for go car racing. When the fire broke out, it spread and reached the petrol-diesel cans. Due to this, the fire flared up even more rapidly. The fire here was so fierce that the entire structure of the game zone has been burnt to ashes. There were a lot of people here at the time of this accident.

The game zone was running without NOC from the fire department

According to The Indian Express report, Rajkot Deputy Municipal Commissioner Swapnil Khare said that TRP Game Zone had not applied for ‘Fire No-Objection Certificate’ (NOC). He said, “We are investigating the details of the gaming zone, but at first glance there is no record that the operators had applied for a fire NOC, nor did they apply for any other approval from the Rajkot Municipal Corporation.”

Game zone’s partner-manager in custody

After the Rajkot fire, the police is also seen in continuous action. TRP Game Zone’s manager Nitin Jain and one of its partners Yuvraj Singh Solanki have been detained by the police. They were detained late Saturday night. The game zone has three partners, including Prakash Jain, Yuvraj Singh Solanki and Rahul Rathod. The police is now going to interrogate them about the cause of the fire and the documents here.

Crowd increased due to the scheme going on for entry fee

Actually, the entry fee in Rajkot’s TRP game zone was made Rs 99 on Saturday. Due to summer holidays and weekends, this scheme was being run by the game zone to attract children. Due to this, a large number of people had reached here. Eyewitnesses say that this accident happened in the game zone when many people including children were enjoying different games. There was also only one way of 6 to 7 feet for entry-exit of the game zone.

SIT will investigate the Rajkot fire incident

At the same time, after this terrible accident in Rajkot, the government has also come into action. The government has handed over the investigation of the incident to a five-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by Additional Director General of Police Subhash Trivedi. After the fire, Rajkot Police Commissioner Raju Bhargava told media persons that the cause of the fire will be investigated and a message has been issued to all the gaming zones in the city to stop operations.

Gujarat government announced compensation

The government has announced compensation for the dead. The families of the dead will be given a compensation of Rs 4 lakh and the injured will be given a compensation of Rs 50 lakh. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed grief over the accident in Rajkot and announced compensation for the casualties. He said that he has condolences for the people who lost their lives in this incident. It is very important to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.

The fire in Rajkot game zone was brought under control in three hours

The fire broke out in the game zone at around 4.30 pm on Saturday, which took about three hours for the firefighters to control. At 9 pm on Saturday, Rajkot Collector Prabhav Joshi said that we were informed about the fire at around 4:30 pm, ambulances and fire engines immediately reached the spot. The temporary structure of the game zone has collapsed. The fire was brought under control two hours ago. We are in touch with the Chief Minister.
