Roshanara Road has been closed due to the construction of a double tunnel by DMRC in North Delhi. Due to the construction work, this road has been closed for more than a month. Due to this, this road will remain closed for traffic and pedestrians. This information was given in an advisory issued on Friday. The advisory issued by the traffic police said that this road will remain closed from midnight of Friday till November 18. That is, during this time, this road will be obstructed for vehicles and pedestrians.
This road closed for a month in Delhi
The advisory said that for the convenience of passengers, the movement of buses and heavy vehicles coming from ISBT and going towards Shakti Nagar via Roshanara Road will be via Shamnath Marg, Civil Lines, Mall Road, Khalsa College and Shaktinagar Chowk. The construction work of double tunnels is going on on both the routes from Roshanara roundabout to Pul Bangash Metro Station by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. It has been said that the movement of light motor vehicles will be from Barfkhana Chowk, Lala Jagannath Marg to Ghantaghar, Chaudhary Nand Lal Marg, Dinanath Marg via Parshuram Underpass.

The police has requested the commuters regarding this construction work to avoid these roads and if possible use public transport, especially metro services. Let us tell you that this is not the first time that a road has been closed in Delhi due to road construction work. Earlier also the roads have been closed for up to 60 days.
