Vedsevak Samman Sohala ceremony was organized to honor 200 Guru Ji who participated in the ‘Anushthan’ of four Vedas for 16 months during the construction of Ayodhya Ram temple. Where RSS chief Bhagwat also reached. There he mentioned other countries including Bangladesh and America. He said that evil forces are always active and united, they do not need any coaching. Unlike good people, who need guidance and support. Evil forces are present all over the world. Their bad acts happen everywhere. Bangladesh is not the first case. The first case is America.
Mohan Bhagwat further said that I have read a book named Cultural Development of America by an American writer, in which the cultural decline in America in the last some time, about 100 years, has been discussed. First this decline was repeated in Poland, then spread to Arab countries during the Arab Spring and recently it happened in Bangladesh, who want to strengthen their hold on the world and believe that they are right and the rest are wrong. There are people who promote these divisive tendencies for their own benefit.
Knowledge to control
He stressed that such tendencies lead to destruction and downfall of nations. The RSS chief said that we need to keep a check on these tendencies without any fear. History shows that when these tendencies grow and reach India, they subside while cremating them here. This is possible because we have the knowledge to control them.
Concern about educated people
The RSS chief also expressed concern over the growing distrust, apathy and disbelief, especially among educated people, due to lack of role models. He said ideals are present but if a person has to change, there should be someone around to guide him. He further questioned that untouchability has no basis in the scriptures, yet it persists. If someone gets disillusioned with the practices within Hinduism and goes to another religion, then who is responsible for it?
