Congress MP Imran Masood from Saharanpur Lok Sabha constituency of UP played Holi with his supporters. He celebrated Holi festival with great pomp with Hindu workers at his residence and offered Jumme ki Namaz a few hours later. During this, he appealed to the people to respect each other’s religion and festivals.
‘Holi’s colors are the colors of love, do not mix hatred in it’
On one hand, while there was a round of discussions in the whole of UP on Holi and Friday Namaz being on the same day, Congress MP Imran Masood from Saharanpur played a lot of abir gulal with his supporters at his residence. Congress supporters applied tilak of colors on Imran Masood and his family, while Imran Masood also celebrated Holi festival with open heart. During this, while talking, he told that our country has a shared culture. Everyone should respect each other’s religion. He said that the colors of Holi are the colors of love. Do not mix hatred in it. When we burn Holika, we burn hatred.
‘Love increases by taking care of each other’s festivals’
Imran Masood said that we should take care of each other’s festivals, which increases love on the festival. On the question of offering Juma, he said that he is currently playing Holi, after Holi when it will be time for Juma, he will also offer Juma Namaz. Imran Masood won the Lok Sabha elections from Saharanpur Lok Sabha seat on a Congress ticket in 2024.
