Sambhal district administration has revealed another big illegal occupation. DM Rajendra Pesia and SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi said that thousands of square meters of land behind Jannat Nisha School located in Sadar Kotwali area was illegally occupied. This land is recorded in government documents as ‘Udyan Bagh’. This was revealed during the investigation conducted by the administration.
One party claiming the disputed land says that this land was occupied after the riots in 1978. They also complained about it to the officials, after which the investigation was started. DM and SP examined the papers of this land. A team was formed to find out the reality of occupation of this land. On the other hand, the other party claims that this land was illegally occupied during the 1978 riots. Some parts were sold by their relatives, while the rest have been occupied by people.
What did DM and SP say?
DM Rajendra Pesia said, “The area of this land located on plot number-48 of Alam Sarai area is 10,181 square meters. A school named ‘Nisha’ is being run at this place, but the land behind this land is still recorded as ‘Bagh’ in official documents. No person has occupied it yet. We are investigating this matter deeply and will take action as per the rules.”
A new turn in history
The Hindu family that suffered in the 1978 riots can now get back its lost property after 47 years. After the murder of a person named Balram Mali, his family had to leave their property. Now the administration has given justice to this family and got the 15,000 square feet of land re-occupied, on which the school was being run earlier. Dr. Shabez, who runs the school on this land, says that he has all the documents for the purchase of this land. He has no connection with the 1978 riots.
It was also found in the investigation that the land on which the school was running earlier belonged to the family of Balram Mali. The administration immediately started investigating the matter. DM, SP and SDM Vandana Mishra visited the spot and investigated. Along with this, the revenue team also reached there and the matter is being thoroughly investigated.
