After the results of the Delhi Assembly elections, senior social activist Anna Hazare has come into the limelight. Now senior Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut has raised questions on his statement. Raut said that Anna Hazare is happy with the defeat of Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Assembly elections. Raut also asked Hazare why he remained silent when corruption charges were leveled against the Narendra Modi government at the Centre in the last few years?

While talking to reporters, Raut said, “Where was Hazare when corruption took place in Modi’s rule? Hazare is happy with Kejriwal’s defeat, but when the country’s treasury is being looted and all the money is going into the hands of a single industrialist, what could be the secret behind Hazare’s silence?”
“Irregularities in Delhi’s voter list”
After this, he also alleged that a similar pattern was seen regarding irregularities in the voter list of Maharashtra and Delhi. He said Hazare has maintained silence on this issue even though similar complaints have come up in Haryana. Sanjay Raut feared similar problems in future elections in Bihar.
“Won seats are being won through manipulation”
Alleging irregularities in the election process since the BJP came to power in 2014, Sanjay Raut said, “Constitutional processes are not being followed in the elections. Won seats are being won through manipulation and money power.” Raut said the main reason for the defeat of Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi assembly elections was manipulation and use of money power. In this election, BJP has ended the rule of Aam Aadmi Party by winning 48 seats in the 70-member assembly, in which the main loser was Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
