Shimla Road Accident: A car fell into a deep gorge on Tuesday night, March 25, in Himachal’s capital Shimla. In this tragic road accident, four people including a mother and daughter died on the spot. The accident took place near Lalpani bridge on Anandpur-Mehli road under Shoghi police post under Baluganj police station, where the car went out of control and fell into the gorge.
The people who lost their lives in this accident have been identified as car driver Jai Singh Negi age 40 years, Rupa age 45 years, Kumari Pragati age 14 years and Mukul age about 10 years. These four are said to be relatives. All four of them died on the spot. At the same time, with the help of SDRF and fire service officials, all four bodies were taken out.
Help was not received on time due to night
Late Tuesday night, near Lalpani bridge, the car driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle and the car fell into a deep gorge below the road. There was a loud sound of the car falling, but due to it being night time, no help could be received immediately. As soon as the information of the accident was received, teams of local police, SDRF and fire department reached the spot.
The car was blown to pieces
Due to the darkness and inaccessible area, the rescue team had to work hard to remove the bodies. The bodies of the deceased were taken out of the ditch and sent to IGMC hospital for post-mortem. The accident was so dangerous that the car was blown to pieces.
At the same time, there is mourning in the family after this accident. Mother and daughter died together in this accident, due to which the family is crying badly. At the same time, all four bodies will be handed over to the family after post-mortem.
