Shimla: Various aspects including security, traffic, cleanliness were discussed in a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Shimla to prepare for the visit of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar to Shimla.

Jagdeep Dhankhar Shimla Visit News: An important meeting was organized today regarding the proposed visit of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar to Shimla. Which was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Shimla Anupam Kashyap. In the meeting, all the necessary aspects including the program related to the arrival of the Vice President, security arrangements, traffic control, cleanliness, drinking water, health facilities and emergency services were discussed in detail.

The Deputy Commissioner Shimla said that the Vice President will reach Shimla on June 06 and will leave for Solan district on June 07. He gave necessary guidelines to all the concerned departments and asked to ensure that all the preparations are completed in a timely and coordinated manner. He said that this visit of the Vice President is a matter of pride for the district, so all the officers should work with full readiness to make it successful.

Superintendent of Police Shimla Gaurav Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Protocol) Jyoti Rana, Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Pankaj Sharma, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Shimla (Rural) Manjeet Sharma, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Shimla (Urban) Oshin Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Devi Chand, senior officers of Administration, Municipal Corporation, Health, Public Works, Transport and other departments were present in the meeting.
