A shocking case has come to light from Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh. Here, the mother of three children was kidnapped at knifepoint by her brother-in-law (husband’s maternal uncle’s son). Then he threatened her and took her away. When the husband reached the police station and told the police about the misdeeds of his cousin, tears came to their eyes. The husband said- Sir! Get my wife released from the clutches of my cousin. The children are crying remembering him. He seems to be my wife’s brother-in-law. Still he did such a thing.

The case is from Badarwas police station area of Shivpuri district. The woman’s brother-in-law is himself the father of two children. He first sent his wife to her maternal home with both the children. Then he kidnapped his brother’s wife at knifepoint. The husband is in shock after his wife was kidnapped. He reached the police station with all three children. There, he filed an application in the police station and started pleading to get his wife back.

According to the information, the wife of a watchman living in Enwara has been kidnapped by his cousin. Even after a week, no trace of him has been found. The labourer has pleaded with the police to get his wife released. Diwan Lal Kewat alias Kalla works as a watchman at a petrol pump. He told the police that on July 14, when he had gone to work as a watchman at 9 pm, his cousin Manoj Kewat, resident of Ainwara, came to his house. He kidnapped his wife Anita Kewat, aged 35 years, at knife point.

‘Took away cash and jewellery too’

According to Diwan Lal Kewat, he took away his wife along with silver belt, anklets, chain, Rs 27,000 of petrol pump silk and Rs 30,000 collected as watchman wages from his house. According to Diwan Lal, Manoj has beaten his wife and sent her to her maternal home. In this sequence, one day he came to him and said that now he will keep Anita as his wife. Hearing this, there was an argument between the two. Diwan said- Manoj also threatened me. Then on 14th July he came and ran away with my wife Anita at knife point.

‘He can kill my wife’

Now there is no trace of both of them. According to Diwan Lal, he suspects that Manoj can also kill his wife. In such a situation, he has requested the police to release his wife from the custody of his cousin.
