Siddharthnagar: More than 50 passengers were injured and 3 persons died in a bus accident on Char Gahwa bridge while returning from Devipatan temple in Mohankola village

Siddharthnagar News: A tragic road accident took place in Mohankola village of Barhni block of Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. A bus overturned on the Char Gahwa bridge while returning from Devipatan temple. More than 50 passengers were injured and 3 persons died in this accident. It is being told that the people in the bus had gone to the Mundan program and this accident happened while returning. The number of passengers in the bus was high, which increased the severity of the accident.

On the other hand, Siddharthnagar District Magistrate Dr. Rajganpati R. said, “About 55 people from Mohan Kola village were in the bus that fell into the Sharda river. People from nearby villages and the police team carried out rescue operations. 2 people have died in this incident and 2 others have been referred to the district hospital, 22 people have been injured in this incident.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Prachi Singh said that the police received information at around 6-6.30 pm today that a bus which was coming from Balrampur to Siddharthnagar fell into the Chargahwa drain under Dhebaruwa police station. He said that the police reached the spot on information and with the help of people, rescued the passengers trapped in the bus, more than 50 people were on board the bus at the time of the accident. The officer said that three people, including a teenager, died in this accident. He said that the accident happened while saving a cyclist, who died after being hit by the bus.

The SP said that the deceased have been identified as cyclist Mangani Ram (50), bus rider Ajay Verma (14) and Gamma (65). He said that apart from this, more than two dozen people have been injured, whose treatment is going on in CSC Barhni and District Hospital Siddharthnagar. On the other hand, according to the news received from Pratapgarh, 20 people were injured in a road accident in Baghrai area of ​​Pratapgarh district on Friday evening.
