Singapore: Four Indian-origin men have been booked in Singapore for allegedly creating a ruckus and misbehaving with a police officer.
Misbehaving with police officer
According to reports, the four accused Mohammed Dino Marciano Abdul Wahab (44), Alex Kumar Gnanasekaran (37), Mohammed Yusof Mohammed Yahiya (32) and Mohanan V Balakrishnan (32) allegedly misbehaved with a police officer who arrived at the scene to investigate an alleged murder case in ‘Little India’ on Sunday morning.
‘Talking like a gangster’
According to court documents, the accused allegedly told the police officers, “You are talking like a gangster, you know we are all scared. We are paying tax, we are paying tax with our hard-earned money. I will show you what a real gangster is.”
No connection to murder case
The incident took place on a street behind Sam Leong Road in ‘Little India’, where a man was allegedly murdered. The case was linked to 22-year-old Indian-origin Mohammed Sajid Salim, who was accused of killing a 25-year-old man on Verdun Road on Monday. Five other people have also been charged in connection with the incident. However, the case filed against these four people has no connection with this murder case.
